Liquid fuel pump Suntec AS 47 C1538 is equipped with a built-in solenoid valve of normally open type, which performs a shut-off function and ensures quick stopping and resumption of fuel supply regardless of the electric motor rotation speed. This solution increases the reliability of burner equipment operation and provides precise control of the combustion process. The gear pair draws fuel from the tank through the built-in strainer and delivers it to the pressure regulating valve, after which the fuel flows to the nozzle line. Excess fuel in a two-pipe system is diverted through the valve to the return line, and in a one-pipe system it returns to the suction side. When the solenoid valve is inactive, the bypass between the pressure and return sides is open, so pressure does not build up. When the valve is activated, the bypass is closed, pressure quickly increases, and the nozzle valve opens. When the burner stops, the bypass opens again, fuel drains into the return line, and delivery to the nozzle immediately stops. Air venting in a two-pipe system occurs automatically. In a one-pipe system, air removal is carried out through the open pressure gauge port.
