Sit is a company that manufactures an electronic flame safety device called the Protherm, Termomax SIT DBC 0.579.101 ignition board. This device is designed for flame monitoring and safe control of gas systems. It is ideal for use in domestic gas installations with or without a fan, as well as in systems with different ignition methods, including a continuously operating pilot burner. The 579 ABC product series was specially designed for use with SIT 840, 845 and 848 SIGMA multifunctional regulators. These components are easily mounted using a special plastic container that contains the valve body and simplifies the connection of solenoid valves. Protherm, Termomax gas boilers are equipped with an electronic ignition system. They use an intermittent pilot burner that ignites before the main burner and automatically turns off if there is no need for main operation. In boilers with a capacity of more than 60 kW, two SIT 840 Sigma gas valves are used, connected in parallel to achieve the required power.
