Opening: When alternating voltage is applied to the solenoid coil through a rectifier with a voltage limiter, a blue LED lights up. The electromagnetic field generated by the coil pulls the valve plate stem upward, and the valve opens. Thanks to the dual-seat design, the inlet pressure is distributed evenly across both seats. Closing: When power is removed, the VAS valve closes. The blue LED goes out, and the spring returns the stem to its original position, closing the valve within 1 second. An inlet screen prevents dirt particles from accumulating on the seats, causing only minimal pressure loss across the screen.
