By selecting the appropriate spring (there are five pressure levels), the pressure range can be changed. Bypass valves are spring-loaded piston valves whose valves limit or maintain pressure in the discharge line at «P» by continuously discharging liquid. This pressure is adjusted using the built-in spring. The excess amount of liquid flows into the return line, «T» to the fuel tank.
