Fluidics W1-275-45 nozzle
The Fluidics W1-275-45 nozzle (article 480.892.102) is an oil nozzle, a precision consumable component that atomises fuel oil into a fine cone for complete combustion. In an oil-fired burner, the nozzle sits at the end of the oil line inside the combustion head. The pump delivers pressurised oil to the nozzle, which then sprays a mist into the air stream from the fan. The spray angle, flow rate, and pattern of the nozzle determine how the flame sits within the combustion head and how it interacts with the blast tube. Selecting a nozzle for replacement requires matching three parameters from the burner data plate: flow rate in GPH or kg/h at the reference pressure, spray angle (typically 30 to 80 degrees), and spray pattern (hollow, solid, or semi-solid). A nozzle with the correct rating but the wrong pattern can cause sooting, pulsation, or unstable ignition. The thread size must also match the nozzle holder. When replacing an oil nozzle, always verify that the old nozzle’s markings correspond to the burner specification. Nozzles are single-use; never clean or re-use them.
