Fluidics N1-360-50 nozzle
The Fluidics N1-360-50 nozzle is an oil nozzle intended for use in oil-fired burners. Parts of this type are precision consumables that atomise fuel oil into a fine spray cone, allowing complete combustion within the burner’s combustion head. Selection of the correct nozzle is based on three parameters: flow rate in GPH or kg/h at the rated pressure, spray angle (typically 30 to 80 degrees), and spray pattern (hollow, solid, or semi-solid). All three must match the specification on the burner data plate. A nozzle with the correct flow rating but a mismatched spray angle or pattern can lead to sooting, unstable ignition, flame pulsation, or poor combustion efficiency. When replacing such a nozzle, confirm the three parameters from the existing part or the burner manual. The thread size on the nozzle must also match the nozzle holder. In the oil supply circuit, the nozzle works with the oil pump and solenoid valve; on burners equipped with one, a preheater may precede it. As a consumable item, the nozzle should be replaced at scheduled service intervals to maintain consistent burner operation and fuel efficiency.
