Flame monitoring: Within 4 seconds (safety time), the system waits for a signal from the photodetector. Stable operation: If flame is present, the ignition transformer is de‑energised and the burner continues normal operation. Safety shutdown: If flame does not appear within 4 seconds or is lost during operation (response time less than 1 second), the control unit shuts off the gas and enters lockout. Manual intervention (pressing the Reset button) is required to restart.
