Dysza Fluidics W1-200-50

The Fluidics W1-200-50 nozzle (catalogue article 480.892.067) is an oil nozzle for use in oil burners. Parts of this type atomise fuel oil into a fine conical spray so that it mixes with combustion air and burns completely. The nozzle is a precision consumable component; its condition directly affects flame quality and burner efficiency. Oil nozzles are selected by three parameters: the flow rate, expressed in US gallons per hour (GPH) or kg/h at the reference pressure; the spray angle, typically between 30 and 80 degrees; and the spray pattern – hollow, solid, or semi-solid. The thread type must also match the burner’s nozzle adapter. When replacing a nozzle of this type, all three parameters must be taken from the burner data plate. A nozzle with the correct flow rate but an incorrect pattern can cause sooting, pulsating combustion, or unreliable ignition. The nozzle works in conjunction with the oil pump, solenoid valve, and, on heavy-oil systems, a preheater. During operation, the burner control energises the pump solenoid to admit fuel, and the nozzle atomises the pressurised oil. Regular replacement is part of standard burner maintenance.
