Master 4506.007: pompa del carburante
The Master 4506.007 fuel pump is a component for oil-fired air heaters and burners. Parts of this type are responsible for drawing fuel from the tank, pressurising it, and delivering it to the nozzle at the correct pressure for atomisation. In an oil burner system the pump works together with the solenoid valve, which controls fuel flow, and the preheater, which reduces oil viscosity for clean ignition. The pump also contains an integral pressure regulator and a shut-off valve that stops fuel delivery when the burner stops. When selecting a replacement fuel pump of this class, the main parameters are flow rate (typically given in kg/h or l/h at a specified pressure), the pump’s rated pressure range, and the direction of rotation (clockwise or counter-clockwise as seen from the shaft end). The shaft coupling type and dimensions must match the fan motor shaft. During installation, ensure the pump alignment is correct to avoid excessive shaft load and that the pressure is set according to the burner specifications. Any replaced pump should be fitted with new seals and the oil line cleaned to prevent debris from damaging the internal gears or nozzle.
