Kromschroder IFW50W/R is a burner control that monitors flame presence in forced-draught oil burners and simultaneously controls several burner devices with intermittent operation together with the IFD 450/454 control. It can monitor flame via an ionization electrode or photocell, and also check for simulated flame during the ignition phase to prevent false signals and immediate shutdown. Operating voltage is 115 V or 230 V (switchable) with tolerance -15% to +10%. IFW50W/R provides safety shutdown in case of flame failure and allows combining monitoring and ignition functions with one electrode. Operating conditions include a wide temperature range (-20...+60°C), and the housing is made of impact-resistant, heat-resistant plastic. The Kromschroder IFW50W/R burner control has dust and moisture protection rating IP 40, a top part with cascade amplifier, continuous operation during ionization monitoring, and continuous self-diagnostics. It also controls manually ignited burners, has a green flame signal indicator, a base with terminal contacts and a ground bus, and 5 cable entry holes. This burner control is used in the oil, mechanical engineering, chemical industries and other sectors. It can be easily installed in any position in the system.
