Honeywell Q313A1022B thermogenerator is designed to ensure safe operation of gas boilers. It is equipped with an automatic shutdown function in case of process failure, preventing emergency situations. In addition, the thermogenerator also performs a temperature measurement function. The thermogenerator consists of a tubular cavity made of copper and coated with technical silver. When the tubular element is heated and contacts the conductor located inside the tube, current is generated and transmitted. The conductor is insulated at one end with a dielectric nut and soldered to a tip at the other. The operating principle of the thermogenerator is that when two types of metal are joined and heated at the junction points, a potential difference arises at the opposite ends of the tubular element, resulting in voltage generation. However, there is a drawback to the thermogenerator - after three to five years of continuous operation, burn-throughs may occur. In this case, a new thermogenerator must be purchased, as it plays an important role in the normal operation of the boiler.
