Brahma FM31 is an electromechanical control relay ("burner management system") for automatic control of ignition and safe operation of atmospheric gas burners with a single flame in intermittent mode. The device is suitable for burners with both natural draft (without fan) and forced air supply (with fan). The FM31 model (art. 37030015) is widely used in various heat-generating equipment: gas heating and combination boilers (domestic and industrial); heat guns, hot air generators; air heaters, infrared heaters; water heaters, process furnaces; burners from Riello, Baltur, Weishaupt, Lamborghini, and other brands. Main functions and features Reliable flame monitoring with instant response: Flame control in this controller is based on the ionization effect. If the burner flame goes out, the automation reacts to its loss in less than 1 second, instantly shutting off the gas supply. Dual safety circuit: Two independent safety contacts are provided for controlling the gas valve. This redundancy ensures the system closes reliably in case of any fault. Non-volatile lockout with manual reset: In case of emergency shutdown (no flame, ignition failure), the burner can only be restarted manually by pressing the reset button on the housing after eliminating the cause of the fault. This eliminates the risk of automatic restart and meets the highest safety class. Built-in high-voltage ignition transformer: The device is equipped with a built-in solid-state ignition transformer with a power of 20 kV.
