The secondary windings are grounded in the center. The high-voltage transformer is equipped with a shielding device to suppress radio interference, which must be securely grounded. The coils are closed with two caps painted with flame retardant paint and form a single unit with a magnetic circuit. Each transformer is identified by the letter T (transformer), a series of numbers indicating the model, and possibly an alphabetic letter indicating the mounting system.
