Brahma RE3 SP flame relay (art. 10801035) is a microprocessor-based programmable controller designed for ignition control and flame monitoring in forced-draft gas burners. The main task of the device is to convert the analog signal from the ionization electrode or UV photocell into a discrete signal, as well as to execute the safe start, operation, and stop algorithm of the burner. Thanks to the built-in relay, RE3 SP can be used as a standalone burner control unit. It is widely used in industrial and semi-automatic combustion control systems, including: forced-draft gas and diesel burners; heating boilers in boiler rooms, private homes, and industrial facilities; furnaces, drying chambers, and other heat-generating equipment; systems requiring sequential or simultaneous control of multiple burners. Main functions and features: Microprocessor control: RE3 SP is built on a modern microcontroller, ensuring high accuracy of timing sequences and stable operation under harsh conditions. Universal flame monitoring: The device supports two types of flame detection: ionization electrode (most common for gas burners) or UV photocell (e.g., Brahma UV1, compatible with Siemens QRA2). This is achieved using a circuit with two sensitive inputs — for ionization sensor and photoresistor. Built-in power relay: Thanks to a powerful relay, RE3 SP can directly switch ignition and fuel valve circuits, acting as a compact control unit without the need for external contactors. LED indication: Two LEDs on the top panel provide instant diagnostics.
