Honeywell C7027A1031 flame sensors are used to detect the presence of ultraviolet radiation emitted by a flame. They work in conjunction with Honeywell flame control systems to detect flames in gas, oil and combined burners. Characteristics and Features: - The C7027A1031/U flame detectors are compatible with the R7249A, R7290A, R7749B and R7849A amplifiers, as well as with the corresponding Honeywell control devices. - The Resideo C7027A1031/B flame sensor has a built-in cuff with 1/2-14 NPSM internal thread for installation on a ½-inch inspection tube. - Due to its compact size, the C7027A1031 sensors are well suited for installation on purge pipes. - With proper installation, the C7027A1031 sensors can operate at a pressure of up to 5 psi. - In cases of difficult flame reading, two C7027A1023 detectors can be connected in parallel. - The C7027A1031/U photocell is used exclusively with the R7851B flame amplifier and corresponding Honeywell control devices. - Flame detectors C7027A1031/U have a built-in cuff with 1/2-14 NPSM internal thread for installation on a ½-inch inspection tube. Additional features include: - Operating temperature range from -18°C to 102°C or -40°C to +102°C, depending on the model. - Maximum pressure: 5 psi (34.5 kPa). - Installation: Cuff with 1/2-14 NPSM internal thread for installation on a ½-inch inspection tube. - Electrical connections: Two wires 6 feet long [1.83 m], color-coded, NEC Class 1. (One model comes with wires 24 feet long [7.32 m]). The back of the detector has a clamping contact for a ½-inch flexible metal conductor. (There are also models with a pressure contact and an internal thread of ½ inch). - Spare parts: Flange seal 129685. - Operating temperature range: -18°C to +121°C or -40°C to +121°C, depending on the model. - Maximum allowable pressure: 5 psi (34.5 kPa). - Installation: Cuff with 1-11-1/2 NPSM internal thread for installation on a one-inch inspection tube. (The model with DIN C7035A1064 certificate has a thread 1-11 BSP.P1). Spare parts include: 1. Flange seal 129808. 2.
